The guide

Wearing pasties

The smallest piece of lingerie

Pasties come from the stage, where a performer could be almost bare and still technically dressed. That spirit carries into the bedroom: a pair of pasties is a promise of the last reveal, the piece that turns undressing into a performance. Worn alone under a sheer top, they are a provocation. Worn under an open cup bra, they are the final layer.

The Etoile Nipple Pasties stay still and graphic. The Frange Nipple Tassels swing with every step, which is exactly what they are for.

How to apply them so they stay

Skin must be clean and completely dry, with no lotion or oil. Press the pastie on from the center outward and hold it for a few seconds with the warmth of your palm. Avoid putting them on straight after a hot shower, when skin is still damp. To remove, peel slowly from one edge while pressing the skin flat with the other hand, or loosen the adhesive with a little oil first. If you have sensitive skin, test one on the inside of your arm for an hour before wearing.

What to wear them with

Pasties were made for open cup lingerie: cover, then uncover, without changing the outfit. They also work under a sheer bodysuit, where they show as a shape behind the mesh, and with a strappy frame from our body harness edit, where the straps meet at the bust. For a full stage look, pair the tassels with fishnets and a corset.

Pasties for sensitive skin and first timers

If you have never worn pasties, start at home and for a short time. Put one on, wait twenty minutes, then remove it slowly. If the skin is calm, you can wear them for an evening. People with very sensitive skin should avoid applying them right after shaving, exfoliating or a hot bath, when the skin is more reactive.

Shape changes the feeling as much as the look. A star is compact and lies flat, so it disappears under a sheer top. Tassels are heavier and swing, so they are better for moments when you will be moving, dancing or putting on a little show. Gold catches the light; black is more mysterious and works under dark mesh.

Pasties also make good companions for less obvious pieces. Under a satin robe left open, they keep a hint of modesty. Under a mesh bodysuit, they turn transparency into a game of what can and cannot be seen. And with nothing else at all, they are the smallest outfit we sell.

Care and policy

Wipe the backing gently after wear and store each pastie on its original card so the adhesive stays clean. Pasties touch bare skin, so they are final sale for hygiene. A damaged or wrong pair is replaced.

Questions

Do nipple pasties hurt to remove?

+
Not when you peel slowly from one edge and hold the skin flat. A drop of oil around the edge makes removal easier.

Can I reuse pasties?

+
Yes, a few times, if you keep the backing clean and store them on their card between wears.

Will pasties stay on while dancing?

+
Yes, on clean, dry skin with no lotion. The tassels are designed for movement.

What size are the pasties?

+
Both styles are One Size and cover the nipple and most areolas.

Can I return pasties?

+
No. They are worn on bare skin, so they are final sale for hygiene. A faulty pair is replaced.
